CHICAGO (Feb. 8, 2025) – Led by a dominant performance from Harrison Nolan (Riverside, Ill./Riverside Brookfield/Kentucky), the men had one-two-three finishes in both individual events. Kerry-Leigh Morrison (Gauteng, South Africa/St. Mary’s School) led the women with top-three finishes in both events, as the UIC Diving program hosted its 19th Diving Invitational.
23 divers from four different schools competed at this year’s invitational. The competition was the final event of the 2024-25 season at Flames Natatorium.

NEW HIGH MARKS
- Christian Curtis (Flossmoor, Ill./Homewood Flossmoor) set a personal best on the one-meter event with a score of 311.95 points. Curtis placed second in the three-meter event and third in the one-meter event.
- Sami Kassir (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) set a personal best in the one-meter event with a score of 271.60 points
UP NEXT
Each of the Flames diving programs will be setting their sights on their respective Missouri Valley Conference Championship Meet. The men’s team will travel to Miami of Ohio’s Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center to compete Feb. 19-22. The women’s team will head to Waukee, Ia. to compete at the Waukee CSD Natatorium from Feb. 26- Mar. 1.

CHICAGO, Ill.– Led by senior Eva Reyes taking home the 1M title, Illinois State Divers capped off the regular season Saturday in the UIC Diving Invitational at Flames Natatorium in Chicago.
Saturday saw the Birds compete against competitors from the University of Southern Indiana, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and UIC.
Reyes claimed the 1M title with a 274.75 finish. Meanwhile, Reyes would take third in the 3-meter diving competition with a score of 271.90.
