CHICAGO (Nov. 8, 2024) – The UIC swimming and diving program continued to prove there is no place like home Friday night, collecting a sweeping victory against Davenport at the Flames Natatorium

CHICAGO, Ill. – The swimming and diving teams traveled to the Windy City for a dual with NCAA Division I Illinois-Chicago on Friday night. The final scores favored the Flames with the women falling 206-89 and the men losing 202.5-97.5.
This was a chance to tune-up a few things before the mid-season Don Kimble Invitational in a couple of weeks at the Kentwood Aquatic Center. The team did win a number of events in the meet. The women’s 200 yard medlay relay earned 11 points with a time of 1:44.76. The men’s side saw Maciej Konarski win the 200 yard free in a time of 1:41.82.
Owen Stender won the 100 yard breast with a time of 55.85. Stender also finished second in the 200 yard breast with a time of 2:03.68.
