Sweden’s Erik Persson breaks own national record in 200 breast prelims

In a very well-split morning swim, Sweden’s Erik Persson established a new national record with a 2:05.47 out of the second circle-seeded heat. Persson broke his own record from just a month ago, when he went a 2:06.46 at the Swedish National Championships.

Finishing behind Germany’s Marco Koch (2:03.74), Persson posted the second fastest time overal from all morning participants.
