BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, NY – St. Francis Brooklyn men’s swimming and diving defeated The College of Staten Island by a score of 135-60 Saturday afternoon at the SFC Aquatic Center. The Terriers had a number first place finishes, including a two-win day for Daniel Matheus Santos.

Matheus Santos took home the win in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:45.90 and followed that up with a win in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.09. Teammate Maurice Grabowski won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.84, edging out Arthur Magno Queiroz (22.02).

Jedi Janes Morland took home the 400 IM, followed by Victor Fuentes. The duo edged out two swimmers for the Dolphins.

Robert Wagner took home the 100-yard butterfly, followed by Kamil Goleniec. Wagner completed the race in 52.21 seconds and Goleniec finished it in 52.82.

Toni Dragoja won the 100-yard backstroke with ease, finishing in 52.12 seconds. Benedek Lendvai won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:53.97. Luka Dmitrovic also won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.65).

Diver Matthew Bernstein won the 3-meter dive with a score of 194.75. He defeated Michael Graham of CSI by over 23 points.

The Terriers return to the pool next weekend against LIU.
