DALLAS (SMU) — The SMU women’s swimming and diving program has released its schedule for the 2021-22 season.
The Mustangs open the season with the return of the SMU Classic, which welcomes top competition from around the country and features eight swimmers and one diver from each competing institution. SMU also hosts the SMU Invite in the fall, as well as a dual meet with New Mexico State.
The lone road contest takes the Mustangs across the Metroplex to face rival TCU.
The spring portion of the schedule welcomes North Texas and Texas to the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium, and sends the Mustangs to Houston for dual meets against Houston and Rice and the American Athletic Conference Championships (Feb. 16-19). The NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships are set for March 16-19.
Diving invites and postseason events are to be determined and will be added to the schedule at a later date.
