Pacific Tigers Adds 10 For The 2014-15 Season

Completing his work during the early signing period for swimming, second-year head coach Peter Richardson has announced the additions of 10 new swimmers to the Tigers ranks for the 2014-15 season.

Albion’s Bosko named MIAA Athlete of the Week

Bosko, a freshman from Holland (Holland HS), swam the second-fastest time in the MIAA this season in the 100-yard freestyle over the weekend at the Michigan Open with a time of :47.02, and also swam a :21.83 in the 50 freestyle.

Goucher Men Suffer Defeat at Catholic

Goucher started the meet strong, with its relay team of Colin Richter, Cody Nelson (Duanesburg, N.Y./Schalmont), Morgan Richter and Sam Davis (Wilmington, Del./Wilmington Friends) pulling out a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Their time of 1:42.71 was two-hundredths faster than Catholic’s team in second place.

WKU Swim Crushes 5 Pool Records to Start Hilltopper Open

Senior Heitor Rodrigues got things started, as his lead leg of the men’s 200 free relay went down as a new Bill Powell Natatorium record. Junior Allie Duff then posted a time of 55.08 for a new top time in the 100 back. Freshman Celia Ouellette took down the 50 free record of Claire Donahue set in 2010 with a time of 23.44.
