QUOTABLES

“I’m very proud of how we wrapped up our regular season here at home,” head coach Ellie Monobe said. “This day is always very special and filled with emotion. I think this team swims with a lot of heart and it was seen in how our seniors swam today. Ellie Hendren having a season best in the 1000 free was great to see. We’ve loved seeing her become a distance staple for our team. Tay Thomas had the grittiest 100 fly of her career in an event we normally struggle in was incredibly special. Watching Anna Johnson’s journey and seeing her grow throughout the years, gaining confidence on the boards and executing her new dives has been phenomenal to see. All in all, these women are on track for a very exciting finish as we head into the postseason.”

“Today was a very special day in our senior meet with our one senior diver that we got to honor” diving coach Monique Demaisip said. “It was an emotional day, but it was great to see everyone be supportive of each other. In terms of diving results, we got the top-four spots on both boards. Today was our upgrade meet where our divers did a lot of higher degree of difficulty dives. I’ve decided on conference lists and I’m excited to take the next two weeks to train and prepare for our big event.”
