Well, we know of UCLA getting rid of the men’s team and Long Beach getting rid of both programs. What people don’t know is Cali State Fullerton had a team in the 1970’s and they dropped the program because they had to go to divi from division two to one. maybe, more of the cal State schools would have swimming today if they were allow to be in division Ii or III in swimming. Just because Football is in division I doesn’t mean all the sports have to be in divison i.
