The Ohio State University has released their 2015-2016 Hype video to promote their Swimming & Diving program. The video features both the swimming and diving team in detail, as well as the University’s facilities and traditions.
Last year the Lady Buckeyes placed 6th at B1G 10 Championships. They were also 40th at NCAA’s- where three school records (200 free relay, 200 IM, 100 fly) were taken down. The men’s team was 2nd and 16th, respectively, at the same championship meets. Last year was the eleventh straight year that the men’s team has had a top 25 finish at NCAA’s.
So far this season, the Buckeye men have only seen intrasquad and Alumni competition. They will be opening their season on Oct. 30 in a dual meet against Kenyon. The women’s team hit the ground running on Oct 2nd & 3rd where they attended the Florida Gulf Coast University Invitational in Naples, Florida. At the invite, the Buckeyes came out on top with 410 points, beating the host team who finished in second with 394.5. Other teams in attendance were South Carolina (346), Rutgers (297.5) Buffalo (258) and Grand Canyon (247). The women’s team will return to action this weekend in a dual against Ohio.
