Ohio State Gets Commitment from Dynamo’s Alissa Cook

The Ohio State Buckeyes have some more talent coming in, as they’ve received a new verbal commitment from Georgia-based Alissa Cook. She’ll be keeping the Cooks at Ohio State next season. Her sister, Kathleen Cook, is a senior swimmer for the Buckeyes this year.

Cook will be making the move to Columbus from down south. She currently attends Woodward High School in College Park, Georgia, and will graduate at the end of this school year. Cook competes for Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta, Georgia during the club season.

On her commitment:

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to study and swim at The Ohio State University! Words cannot express how thankful I am for all my friends, family, and coaches who have supported me through this journey. I especially want to thank Jason Turcotte for teaching me to challenge myself; I wouldn’t be where I am without him. #buckeyenation #gobucks”
