New Zealand’s Vanessa Ouwehand Foregoing LCM Worlds After Battling Injury & Illness

2025 Pro Swim Series — Sacramento

New Zealand native Vanessa Ouwehand won the women’s 50 fly at the Sacramento Pro Swim, touching in 25.94. This made her the only woman in the field to dip under the 26-second barrier. This will mean she will forego trying to qualify for the 2025 World Championships, instead shifting her focus to the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
