New Poll: What's the verdict on Lochte's shoes?

So, in case you haven’t heard, Ryan Lochte unveiled his brand new self-designed Speedo high-tops on the first day of the USA-Swimming Nationals.

The shoe is covered in green sequins, presumably water proof, with a little bit of yellow accent. The soles say “Ryan” and “Lochte” on them, and so will your footprints. I think it’s also safe to say that they prevent knee and/or groin injuries.

Heck…a picture is worth a thousand words:

Erik, I like that! I think you should e-mail Lochte and see if you can help design the next one!

the only thing I don’t like about them is the laces. They look like ribbon one would use to wrap presents with.

If I were to go with this design..

would have gone with a huge green velcro strap that just hangs there for show. Maybe a speedo logo on it (no speedo written above it)

laces built into the shoe (can still look like they are), but elastic so they are just slip ons, perfect for a swimmer at a meet.
