Mrs Conger: “It Takes a Love For the Process”

Matt Rees at the 2013 Metro Championships got a minute to speak with an obviously-beaming Bridget Conger, mother of the two-time National High School Record breaking Jack Conger after his final high school swim meet.

Matt, as he’s done throughout the coverage of this meet, happened upon some absolute gems of comments from Mrs. Conger, including two huge keys to what it takes to become as big of a success in the water as Jack has been. Check it out above.

BTW, I would not mind seeing Jack become a big star at 2016 Rio and TV replacing endless Phelps’ Mom close-ups with Jack’s mom.
