Yesterday we reported about the release of Michael Phelps’ new video game for XBox 360 called “Michael Phelps: Push the Limit.” Later in the day, fans of late-night television got their first chance to see the man himself take on the game as he threw down head-to-head against NBC’s Jimmy Fallon, formerly of Saturday Night Live fame.
Check out the video below to see the competition. Phelps was dominant to the turn, but then faded towards the end of the race. Still, at the wall, he had just enough to hang on over Fallon, who is notoriously good at sporting video games. You can see that the game has Phelps’ signature “galloping” stroke, though his impersanation of his gallop on dry-land is much more subdued than Phelps Phans are used to seeing.
