Megan, be focused on freestyle races! Backstroke is too good in USA now on the women’s side with Missy, Rachel and Natalie but on freestyle you have a great chance to qualify on individual for London. And american freestyle relays will be much stronger. With Megan you can play the win with the dutch swimmers in the 4X100 free and you are unbeatable in the 4X200 free. It’s incredible how she has improved since last year. She’s definitely a star in the making.
I agree about her focus. She will focus on 100/200 FR but still Megan is so talented (as you say) that after taper she might go 59 flat and make the team anyway. She is going to surprise us–maybe more than Ledecky
