Martin Wins His Second A-10 Swimmer of The Week Award

 St. Bonaventure’s Jimmy Martin named the Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s Swimming and Diving Performers of the Week the league announced on Tuesday.

Martin, a senior from Bristol, Conn., helped lead the Bonnies past Canisius, 129-112, with first-place finishes in the 100-yd freestyle (46.93) and the 200-yd freestyle (1:43.09) over the weekend. Martin also led off for the 200-yd freestyle relay team that set a new pool record with a time of 1:23.30.

This is the second A-10 swimmer of the week award that Martin has earned this year. His first came after breaking two pool relay records against Pitt on October 19.

The Bonnies are back in the pool this weekend at the Pitt Invite for a three day event starting on Friday (Nov. 22) and concluding on Sunday (Nov. 24).
