Both Florent Manaudou and Coralie Balmy of France posted times that rank in the top five in the world at the fourth stage of the Catalan Circuit of Trophies Swimming in Sabadell, Spain.
Manaudou won the men’s 50 freestyle recording a time of 22.16 putting him in the fifth place position in the world rankings while Balmy won the women’s 400 freestyle in a time of 4:06.94 which is also good enough for the fifth place position in the world rankings.
Their French teammate Mehdy Metella also cracked the world’s top ten in the men’s 100 butterfly winning the event in a time of 52.91. Metella was already in the seventh place position tied with Tommaso D’Orsogna who had both posted 52.95.
Spaniard Mercedes Peris recorded a time of 2848 in the women’s 50 backstroke putting her eighth in the world this year.

Coralie Balmy looks good.
Florent Manaudou is more focused on the 100 now.
And Mehdy Metella is our young rising 100 fly talent. I see him able to swim under 52 this year.
Manaudou impressive!Made 48.79 after only 22.16 in 50 free… this guy is gonna fly(and i dont mean butterfly!) at Euro Champs.
Manadou swam 48.79. That is really fast (for him).
