Assistant Coaches

Job Description:

POSITIONS:  Cascade Swim Club, located in Seattle, WA, is seeking experienced coaches to serve as part-time Assistant Coaches and potential Lead Site Coaches.  Qualified candidates should have experience working with swimmers of all levels and possess a deep understanding of developing age groupers.  Lead Site candidates should have experience working with parents and team leadership to successfully implement strategic team goals.  Ideal candidates should be positive team players, excellent teachers and stroke technicians.  Coaches should be able to write workouts to accommodate training objectives and proper progressions for all levels of the swim program.  Coaches must be available to work morning and afternoon practices, as well as meets as needed.  Qualified candidates must be USA-S registered with all certifications current.  Lifeguard certification is a plus.  Compensation based on coaching position and experience.

ABOUT:  Cascade Swim Club has supported Seattle area swimmers at all levels since 1959.  Cascade is a perennial leader of Pacific Northwest Swimming LSC with more than 700 swimmers at multiple practice locations in North King County Area, in cooperation with the Cities of Seattle and Shoreline.  Cascade hosts between 6 to 8 meets each year and has hosted national-level meets at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.  Cascade Swim Club is a Community Club with a National Presence, and serves as a proud leader of diversity and inclusion to support swimmers of all levels and socio-economic backgrounds.  For more information, please visit:  www.cascadeswimclub.org.
