After spending much of the 2014-15 season on the road, the reigning Ivy League-champion Princeton Tigers will contest most of their dual meets in DeNunzio Pool this year. The 2015-16 version is a less-charged schedule than its recent predecessors; absent are dual meets against Navy, NC State, and indeed any other non-Ivy opponent.
Both the women’s and men’s team will kick of the season at Penn State Invitational, much closer to home than the Ohio State Invitational with which they began last year’s campaign. On Saturday, November 21 they will host both Cornell and Penn at DeNunzio Pool (the men in the morning, the women in the afternoon). The first weekend in December brings Big Al Invitational to DeNunzio once again, from which dual meet points will be scored with Dartmouth and with Brown.
The Tigers are off for the rest of December and all of January before they play host to the ultra-competitive H-Y-P tri-meet on January 29-30. A week later they welcome Columbia (women in the afternoon; men in the evening) for their final dual meet before conference championships.
Princeton women’s team will have home pool advantage this year as the Ivy League Women’s Championships will be held in DeNunzio Pool from February 18-20. The following week the men will travel to Providence, Rhode Island to the Brown-hosted Ivy League Men’s Championships.
