IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa swimming and diving has released its schedule for the 2024-25 season, head coach Nathan Mundt announced Thursday.
The Hawkeyes will host six meets, including the NCAA Zone Diving Championships, at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center (CRWC) in 2024-25.
“We’re excited about the opportunities and challenges this schedule presents throughout the season, including meets with Big Ten and non-conference opponents,” Mundt said. “Once again this year, we will host the Hawkeye Invitational that will bring several outstanding programs to our fantastic facility. We always look forward to the Cy-Hawk matchup, which will also be here in Iowa City. Our focus toward the end of the season will be preparing for elite competition at the Big Ten Championships and on a national level at the NCAA Championships. Overall, it’s an excellent slate of competitions, and we’re excited to build on the progress we made as a team last season.”
October features three meets, with Iowa opening the season at UNI on Oct. 4. The Hawkeyes return home to the CRWC to host Nebraska on Oct. 11, before the Black and Gold intrasquad meet on Oct. 25.
The Hawkeyes travel to Minneapolis on Nov. 8 to battle Minnesota. Iowa wraps up November with the Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City on Nov. 21-23. The Hawkeyes host Iowa State in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk on Dec. 13.
Flipping the calendar to 2025, Iowa will travel to Miami, for a dual with the Hurricanes on Jan. 7. The Hawkeyes will return home on Jan. 17, welcoming Illinois to the CRWC. Heading into February, the Hawkeyes travel east for a meet with Nebraska and Rutgers in Piscataway on Jan. 31-Feb. 1.
Iowa enters postseason competition with the Big Ten Championships in Columbus, Ohio, on Feb. 19-22. The NCAA Zone Diving Championships will be hosted by the Hawkeyes at the CRWC from Mar. 10-12. The season concludes at the NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash. On Mar. 20-23.
