No article on the new Swimming Canada distance center in Ontario? On the same day that World Aquatics announces Stroke 50s are in the Olympics?

Is it just me that finds it hard to get excited when Wiggintons swimming now? Thought he was going to be great but haven’t seen anything special from him since World Juniors 2023

Why the microscope on this particular swimmer?

The guy is only 20. Progress isn’t linear. His 400 Free from 2023 Junior Worlds remains 3rd all-time in Canada.

There are other swimmers who swam PBs in Netanya that haven’t improved upon those times either in some events such as Breaststroke (Alexanne LePage, Halle West).

Perhaps just see how the next 3-4 months go as the LC season heats up with WJs coming in Romania and Worlds in Singapore…

Meanwhile, back in Edmonton… good things will happen for many competitors (perhaps even Mr. Wigginton!).
