Fox Valley Swim Team’s Hannah Hunt has verbally committed to Vanderbilt, where her sister Madeline is a junior on the swim program.

Hunt is a top breaststroker coming out of Illinois, who swims prep at Waubonsie Valley High School outside of Chicago.
TOP TIMES
- 50 breast – 29.70
- 100 breast – 1:02.36
- 200 breast – 2:17.54
- 200 IM – 2:07.70
At the 2015 IHSA Championships last season, Hunt split a 28.95 on the medley relay, where WVHS would end up placing 12th overall. She also touched 9th in the 100 breast, her only other swim of the meet.
Hunt would’ve been #2 in the 200 breast and #3 in the 100 breast on Vandy’s top times list last season. While she’ll need to keep whittling down her 200 breast time to score at SEC’s in that event, she’s already fast enough to at least reach the C final in the 100 breast. She will get to train one season with current junior Kara Lucenti, who is the Commodores’ best breaststroker and also happens to hail from the Chicago area.
