Game Changer Bailee Nunn Headed to Drury

Three event Olympic Trials Qualifier Bailee Nunn has chosen to stay as close to home as possible, giving her verbal commitment today to continue on in the pool where she developed as an age grouper. Drury University Head Coach Brian Reynolds has landed a big fish in his quest to take back the NCAA Division II National Championship, as Bailee’s best performances would have already landed her in multiple A-finals based on national meet results from last year.

Bailee is a Phillips 66 National Championships and Olympic Trials qualifier in 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke and 200 IM.  She finished 20th overall in the 200IM at Phillips 66 National Championships, and in 2014 was the Region VII Summer Sectional Champion in the 200IM and 200 Breaststroke.

“When I started looking for colleges I wanted a place that felt like home and had a good biology program. I didn’t want to go very far from my family either. Drury University was at the top of my list. It has always been a second home to me and the swim team is very close and exactly what I was looking for. I was already familiar with Coach Reynolds style of coaching and his drive for success. After I took my official trip I knew Drury was the right place for me. I can’t wait to be a Panther!”
