Watch: Florida’s Kahlia Warner Discusses Her 3-Meter SEC Diving Title

In the above video, Florida senior Kahlia Warner talks about her winning performance in the 3 meter event yesterday and her strategy moving forward. Tomorrow morning, Warner will compete in her final diving event of the weekend, the women’s platform.

WOMEN’S 3-METER DIVING – FINAL

  1. Kahlia Warner, FLOR – 383.75
  2. Cassie Weil, LSU – 372.55
  3. Rachel Rubadue, TENN – 354.00

Florida’s Kahlia Warner took home her second diving title of the meet, scoring 383.75 points for the 3-meter win. The Gators also got a win from Delaney Dye in the consolation round earlier in the day, giving them a solid boost in diving points.

LSU senior Cassie Weil was second with 372.55 points, and the top underclassman was Tennessee freshman Rachel Rubadue, who scored 354.00 for third overall.

Last year’s 3-meter champion, Georgia’s Olivia Ball, missed finals entirely, taking 31st out of prelims.

Tennessee put two divers into the A flight, with Rudabue taking third and Sarah Chewning eighth. With Texas A&M scoring just one diver in 16th, the Vols have taken back the team points lead by a big 37-point margin. Georgia sits 120 back of Tennessee and 83 behind Florida.
