FINA Synchronised Swimming World Cup to be staged on Oct 2-5 in Quebec

Seventeen of the strongest teams in the planet will be competing in Quebec City (CAN) during the 13th edition of the FINA Synchronised Swimming World Cup, to be staged on October 2-5, 2014. A total of 107 athletes will be in action for the different events on the programme: Duet (including Technical and Free programmes), Team (Technical and Free), Free Combination and Team Highlights.

The National Federations present in Canada for this World Cup are: Australia, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Slovakia, Switzerland and Ukraine.

At home, the Canadian team will aim at podium presences, but will be challenged by other strong powerhouses in the discipline, such as China, France, Italy, Japan or Ukraine.

The programme of the competition will be as follows:

– October 2: Duet Technical
– October 3: Team Highlight preliminaries; Team Technical preliminaries
– October 4: Free Combination preliminaries; Duet Free Final; Team Free Final
– October 5: Free Combination Final; Team Highlights Final
