Emma Sticklen on Mindset of Historic 200 Fly: “I am gonna own this from start to finish”

2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships

Texas 5th year Emma Sticklen redefined the 200 fly in college swimming this year, dipping under the 1:50 barrier more times in a single season than anyone else has in their entire career. To put a bow on it, she won her 3rd straight NCAA title in the event last night and set a new NCAA record in the event, touching at 1:49.11.
