Academy Bullets Swim Club swimmer Elizabeth Graham has committed to compete at Ball State University in the fall of 2016. A senior at Glenwood High School in Springfield, Illinois, Graham plans to study architecture at Ball State.
Graham is a distance freestyler who will have an immediate impact on the Cardinals’ results. Both her 1650y and 1000y free times would rank 3rd on Ball State’s all-time lists, and her 500 is just .30 away from making all-time top 10. While she is still about 5 seconds away from scoring in the 500 free at conference level, Graham’s best 1650 would have placed 16th at 2015 MAC Championships. These are two events in which the Cardinals had no finalists last year; Graham’s addition to the roster could be a catalyst in Ball State’s quest to move up the MAC ladder.
