Dynamo Swim Club’s Cash DeLoache Verbally Commits to USC

Butterflier Cash DeLoache of the Dynamo Swim Club in Atlanta has verbally committed to the USC Trojans.

“I picked USC because it’s the best,” DeLoache said.” Everything is first class all the way-coaching, the team, facilities, food, everything. And who wouldn’t want to live in southern California?”

DeLoache is a Summer Junior Nationals-qualifying butterflier and IM’er who is very good in both short course and long course. In yards, his bests are:

  • 50 free – 20.93
  • 100 free – 46.92
  • 100 fly – 49.78
  • 200 fly – 1:50.53
  • 200 IM – 1:52.42

DeLoache will join a USC butterfly group that is pretty deep, though they’re off to a bit of a slow start this season relative to the rest of the conference. He’ll overlap with the team’s top sprint butterflier, Maclin Davis, for one year, and standout sophomore Michael Domagala for two years.

Also in the USC class is the #10 recruit in the nation and 100 fly National Age Group Record holder Alex Valente.

DeLoache will also be surrounded by a hodge-podge group of versatile swimmers like Santo Condorelli, Reed Malone, David Morgan, Dylan Cater, and Ralf Tribuntsov, who aren’t primarily thought of as butterfliers but have had success in the sprints in short course.
