NEWARK, Del. – Alex Massey had a hand in four first place finishes as the Yale University women’s swimming and diving team claimed 12 first place marks against Delaware. The competition was a non-team scored affair that was classified as a scrimmage.
Results
- The Bulldogs notched two relay top marks today. The 200 medley relay of Mabel Koff, Devyn Sargent, Alex Massey and Li was first in 1:43.48. The 400 freestyle relay quartet of Ele Donegan, Sargent, Lilly Derivaux and Massey also finished first in 3:29.65.
- Massey finished first in both the 100 fly (56.72) and the 200 fly (2:03.07).
- Li touched the wall first in both the 100 freestyle (51.22) and the 200 freestyle (1:52.36).
- Sargent collected a first place mark in the 200 backstroke (1:59.56).
- Derivaux had a time of 5:02.01 in the 500 freestyle which was tops in that event.
- Caroline Riggs registered a top showing in the 1000 freestyle (10:11.44).
- Lily Horenkamp recorded a score of 308.55 on the three-meter board to finish first.
- Hayden Henderson tallied a 305.40 on the one-meter board to claim the top spot.
- Eunice Lee swam to a time of 4:23.71 in the 400 individual medley for first place in that event.
The Bulldogs return to action on November 1 for a home meet against the University of Miami.
NEWARK, Del. – Nicholas Finch collected two first place finishes to lead the way for the Yale University men’s swimming and diving team against Delaware. The Bulldogs won seven individual events in a competition that was a non-team scored affair and classified as a scrimmage.
Results
- Finch touched the wall first in both the 50 freestyle (20.67) and the 100 butterfly (48.51).
- Konstantinos Zachariadis registered a first place showing in the 200 butterfly (1:50.75).
- Jake Wang notched a top effort in the 200 breaststroke (2:02.83).
- Arshak Hambardzumyan led the way in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:34.16.
- Jackson Lipscomb posted a score of 336.90 on the three-meter board to claim that event.
- Elliot Lee collected first place in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:00.68,
The Bulldogs return to action on November 8 for the Ivy League opener against Brown.
