NORFOLK, Va. — Davidson swimmers won 17 events and finished atop the team scores as well Saturday at Old Dominion.

The Davidson women won nine events and beat ODU 152-110, while the Wildcat men earned eight event wins and a 142-120 team victory.

In all, four Wildcats won multiple individual events, including Dylan FeltCynthia HuangKate Pottle and Shelby Stanley.

On the women’s side, Huang touched the wall first in the 200 fly (2:09.69) and 400 IM (4:33.19). Stanley won the 100 fly (57.53) and 200 back (2:04.96), while Pottle swam out front in the 500 free (5:03.56) and 1,650 free (17:42.57).

Leah Sandock added a win in the 100 back (57.95) and swam on the Wildcats’ two winning relays. She was joined by Stanley, Anna Newman and Martha Tripsa on the 200 medley relay (1:45.98) and by Tripsa, Chale Jacks and Addy Donaldson on the 200 free relay (1:37.44).

Felt led the Davidson men with wins in the 500 (4:38.81) and 1,650 (15:59.77). Other Wildcat wins came from Ben McClain (200 free, 1:39.77), Jeremy Kemp (100 back, 51.56), Andrew Schou (100 breast, 57.42), Fletcher Smith (200 fly, 1:53.71) and Miles Charles (100 fly, 50.79).

Kemp, Schou, Charles and Ian Brann combined to win the 200 medley relay in 1:32.80.

NORFOLK, VA – The Old Dominion Men’s Swimming fell to Davidson 142-120 and the Women’s Swimming team lost 152-110 on Saturday, Oct. 29.

Tara Enneking finished first in three events and Summer Miln placed first in two events

In the Women’s 200 medley relay ODU took second and third. Samantha Allred, Tosi Gabby, Martina Ciriesi and Tara Enneking placed second with a time of 1:46.20. While the third place team of Peri Farling, Cheramy Marian, Brina Uhlin, and Laila Webb finished with a time of 1:50.90.

In the Men’s 200 yard medley relay the Monarchs placed second and third. Gustaf Hansson, Bryce Mortimer, Oskar Iwarsson and Noah Wilkins placed second with a time of 1:33.23. Jacob Cobb, Cooper Gavin, Johnathan Walden, and Brice Bounds finished third with a time of 1:35.05

In the Women’s 1650 Free Brynn Jewell finished second with a time of 18:05.37 and Lily Cleal finished third with a time of 18:31.68

In the Men’s 1650 free Grey Bremer in third with a time of 16:41.01

In the Women’s 200 free Tara Enneking and Summer Miln finished first and second. Enneking finished with a time of 1:52.10 and Miln finished with a time of 1:53.38.

In the Men’s 200 yard free Noah Wilkins finished in second with a time of 1:39.85 and Ryan Lincicum finished in third with a time of 1:45.38.

In the Women’s 100 yard back, Mary Dunworth finished in second with a time of 58.96 and Samantha Allred finished in third with a time of 59.06.

In the Men’s 100 back Gustaf Hansson placed second with a time of 51.56.

Tara Enneking placed first in the women’s 100 breast with a time of 1:05.45.

In the Men’s 100 breast, Bryce Mortimer placed second with a time of 58.30.

In the women’s 200 fly, Brina Uhlin placed second with a time of 2:12.63.

In the men’s 200 fly AJ Capizzi placed third with a time of 1:57.89.

Summer Miln placed first in the women’s 50 free with a time of 24.09.

Ryan Lincicum finished first with a time of 21.25 and Russell Hronek placed third with a time of 21.70.

Summer Miln placed first is the women’s 100 free with a time of 51.94.

Noah wilkins finished in first in the men’s 100 free with a time of 45.73 and Ryan Lincicum placed third with a time of 46.35.

Summer Sampson placed second in the women’s 200 back with a time of 2:06.71.

In the men’s 200 back, Ben Schattenberg placed second with a time of 1:52.91 and Jacob Cobb finished in third with a time of 1:53.60.

In the women’s 200 breast, Tara Enneking took first place with a time of 2:21.64.

In the men’s 200 breast, Bryce Mortimer took first with a time of 2:06.55.

Brynn Jewell placed third in the women 500 free with a time of 5:18.42.

Grey Bremer finished in third in the men’s 500 free with a time of 4:47.64.

In the women’s 100 fly, Brina Uhlin placed third with a time of 59.16.

In the men’s 100 fly, Oskar Iwarsson finished in second with a time of 50.90.

In the men’s 400 IM, ODU took the top three spots. Jacob Cobb took first with a time of 4:06.99, Bryce Mortimer took second with a time of 4:11.18, and Ben Schattenberg took third with a time of 4:12.09.

In the women’s 200 free relay ODU took second and third. Laila Webb, Mary Dunworth, Peri Farling, and Summer Miln took second with a time of 1:37.49. Mirand Byrne, Summer Sampson, Madi Wilson, and Peyton Turner placed third with a time of 1:40.75.

In the men’s 200 free relay ODU took first. Gustaf Hansson, Russell Hronek, Ryan Lincicum, and Noah Wilkins finished with a time of 1:23.92.

The Monarchs are back in action Nov. 17 to Nov. 19 at the West Virginia  Invitational.
