Colby-Sawyer College announced the hiring of Yurika Suzuki as an assistant coach.
Yurika joins the Chargers for the 2019-20 season, coming from the Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim Club—Kapolei, Oahu site, where she was an assistant coach. She has extensive experience with above and below water videography analytics for stroke progression.
Yurika completed her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology with a minor in environmental science from the University of California at San Diego. She is a certified master scuba diver, rescue diver and Nitrox diver from NAUI. In addition to technique strategies and filming, Yurika is adept with programming and statistical analysis. She has a passion for snowboarding and all outdoor photography.
