Chloe Miller of Bolles Makes Verbal Commitment to Georgia Tech

Jacksonville, Florida’s Chloe Miller has made a verbal commitment to join the Georgia Institute of Technology Yellow Jackets for the 2015-16 season. Miller is a senior at The Bolles School where she has been a finalist in several events at the last several Florida High School Class A1 Championships. In 2014 she placed fifth in the 100 back and tenth in the 100 fly, while in 2013 she was eighth in both the 100 fly and 500 free.

Miller, who swims for the Bolles School Sharks club team, transitioned to mid-distance training in 2014 and has seen vast improvements in her times over the last several seasons.

Miller is a Winter Juniors qualifier in both the 100m fly (1:02.71) and 200m fly (2:19.05).

It took a 2:02.49 to get a second swim in the 200 fly at 2015 ACC Championships, and a 54.55 in the 100. In backstroke, the cutoff times for making the “C” final were 2:01.74 for the 200 and 55.18 for the 100. Miller is right at the edge in the 200s of both strokes. As she continues to develop her strength in the mid-distance races she will become a strong contributor to the Yellow Jackets’ results.

A two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Miller will be part of a talented class of athletes that also includes the following commits:
