Christine Gaab
Background
After a few years of swim lessons during her childhood, Christine joined Peters Township Swim Club where she competed for the next 11 years. In addition to her club team, Christine swam for her middle school and high school before taking her talents to John Carroll University. Now a sophomore at John Carroll, Christine swims mainly backstroke. She is an Integrated Marketing major with a Spanish minor.
High School
Christine swam for Peters Township High School. Her high school accolades include being a two-year letterman and qualifying for the Western Pennslyvannia Interscholastic Athletic League meet her senior year.
College
2013-2014: Focusing primarily on backstroke, Christine scored points for the Blue Streaks on several occasions. She collected many third place individual finishes throughout the season and helped out on the medley relays. At her first conference meet she placed 13th in the 200-yard backstroke.
2014-2015: As a sophomore Christine continued to swim backstroke for John Carroll. She placed 12th overall in the 100-yard backstroke at the final conference meet.
