It’s the time of year many high school seniors start thinking about the end of their high school days and eagerly anticipating the beginning of the next chapter. For USA Swimming national team member Katie McLaughlin there’s still plenty to accomplish in her senior year with the California high school championship events on the horizon. McLaughlin who captured the silver medal in the 200 fly at last year’s summer nationals, later going on to a bronze medal performance at the Pan Pacs, is focused on finishing her high school swimming on a high note. But there’s a lot of excitement beyond high school with the 2015 World Championships mid summer and then starting her freshman year at U.C. Berkeley. McLaughlin wanted to capture some senior pictures to preserve the memories amidst all the excitement and team up with swimming photographer Mike Lewis down in San Diego. We’ve got a few of the images from their session.
