Audrey Rackel, a current high school senior from Signal Mountain, Tennessee, has committed to swim for Division II Nova Southeastern University. Rackel will graduate from Signal Mountain High School in spring 2020 and join the Sharks’ class of 2024.
Rackel is a current year-round swimmer for Baylor Swim Club under head coach Daniel Flack.
This year at the 2020 SSC Swimming and Diving Championships with NSU, Rackel would have been a little over two-tenths of a second away from B-finals in the 50 freestyle (24.31) and 100 backstroke (1:00.08) with her current best times.

At the SSC Championships this year, NSU placed 1st as a team and head coach Ben Hewitt was named the Women’s SSC Coach of the Year.
A few weeks later at the NCAA DII Championships, NSU placed 7th out of 27 teams. Their 200-medley relay made quite the statement by shattering the SSC record opening night at the DII Championships.
Rackel will begin her swimming career at Nova Southeastern University fall 2020.
