Arizona women pick up Mile High diver Costello

Kaitlin Costello of Mile High Dive Club has verbally committed to the University of Arizona.

The Colorado diver is strong in all three diving events and also has experience in synchronized diving at the national level.

Competing with the Mile High Dive Club out of Littleton, Colorado, Costello and her partner Ashley Peterson finished 5th in the synchro platform event at Nationals in August. The duo also finished 5th at Junior Nationals the week before.

Costello was 5th at the Colorado high school state championships last February.

She will work with Arizona diving coach Omar Ojeda, who helped current Wildcat Samantha Pickens to an NCAA title in the 1m springboard last spring.
