After three years of development, Australia-based company Anti Wave has completed dispatch of its new Global Anti Goal to customers in seven countries – just two weeks after the release of the product.
Anti Wave has shipped the new Australian made Global Anti Goals via UPS air courier, with locations including the US state of Alaska and Iceland making up the first shipments.
In Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city, Masters Player Dr George Stransky, a member if Team USA at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and a FINA Gold medal winner in the 70+ age group at the Montreal 2014 World Championships purchased the goals for his local club, while in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavik, water polo coach and player Glenn Moyle, a former New Zealand national player, welcomed their country’s first ever regulation polo goals to contribute to the development of their sport.
The Global Anti Goal is a full sized competition and training polo goal designed and produced in Australia, with Premium materials, construction and components.
Weighing just 25kg this folding/floating goal can easily be moved in and out of the water by one or two persons, and its game-changing functional design will not damage pool tiling, as do many current popular Goal models available.
Nicola Johnson, FINA Polo Referee (Tokyo Olympic Referee 2020), said of the new goal “the new Global Anti Goal is the best goal I have seen in over 30 years of water polo, it is light weight – one person can put the goal in and out of the pool, it is very durable and I love the training rod along the back of the goal that allows for balls to be stored in the back of the net during training sessions, this is such a great inclusion, easy for the GK to reach for a ball when needed. “
Made in Australia from customer power-coated aluminium extrusions, the foldable Global Anti Goal includes the highest quality construction materials and components for ultimate durability.
