SwimSwam’s first-ever crossword puzzle brought out the in-quarantine competitor in all of us, but it tapped into our team member longing as well, with readers helping one another out in the comments.
If you missed the first round of SwimSwam crossword puzzle action, catch up on #1 here, with answers included at the bottom of the post.
Our second puzzle was meant to be just as challenging, with a few ‘gimmes’ thrown in just to keep you on track.
If you haven’t undertaken the task yet, the blank crossword is still available below. However, for those that finished the challenge but had a few lingering clues remaining, check out the complete set of answers at the bottom of this post. Let us know how you did in the comments.
As a heads up, the next crossword puzzle will see more clues based on articles appearing on our site throughout the days leading up, so be sure to pay extra attention.
Instructions to complete online:
- Click a cell on the crossword grid, or click a clue
- Click twice on a cell to toggle between across and down
- The active cell is highlighted in blue
- Start typing in the word
- Hit enter when you are done typing in the word
- The word will turn green or red if you got it right or wrong
- You can use the tab and shift-tab keys to move around the crossword and the arrow keys
Will there be another crossword coming out? Also, you should maybe make some word finds or easier puzzles as there are younger swimming fans who won’t know the answers to most of these crossword questions as they are before their time.
