The Air Force men’s swimming & diving team will have a full weekend coming up, as the Falcons head to Denver on Friday, Oct. 20 for a dual meet with the Pioneers at 5 p.m. before returning back to Colorado Springs for the team’s home opener against Colorado Mesa and Colorado School of Mines on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. in Cadet Natatorium.
Air Force, who is the two-time defending WAC Champion, took last weekend off, but went 2-0 at the Intermountain Shootout to open the season Oct. 6-7. Junior Steffen Mount had a huge weekend, earning four first place finishes while helping two of his relay teams take first as well. Kyle Bundesman won the 400 IM, Garrett Glaudini took first in the 1650 free, Peter Lochmaier won the 200 fly, Ben Brockman took first in the 500 free and Zach Nelson won the 200 breast to round out the Falcons first place finishers.

Along with the men’s team, the Falcon women will also play host to CMU, CSM and CSU-Pueblo on Saturday. Following the busy weekend, Air Force will head to Wyoming for a dual meet on Saturday, Oct. 28 at noon in Laramie, Wyo. Admission to all home swimming & diving events is free of charge.
