AAC Honors Bozhilov, Kondis, Hardigree & Schuermann

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly swimming and diving honors for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 3.

Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Petar Bozhilov * So. * SMU

Bozhilov swept the competition in the 500 freestyle (4:36.89) and the 1000 freestyle (9:33.28) events for SMU in a dual meet with SEC foe LSU on Nov. 2 in Dallas.

Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Peyton Kondis * Sr. * Houston
Kondis claimed wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.09, fastest time in The American this season) and the 200 breaststroke (2:11.38, fastest time in The American this season) with NCAA B-cut times to guide Houston to a dual triumph over Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 1-2.

Men’s Diver of the Week
Parker Hardigree * So. * SMU
Hardigree earned a victory in the 1-meter dive with 326.45 points and added a win off the 3-meter board with 362.85 points to help lead SMU in a dual matchup with LSU on Nov. 2 in Dallas.

Women’s Diver of the Week
Claire Schuermann * Sr. * Cincinnati
Schuermann claimed the win in the 1-meter dive with 281.80 points to go along with the top spot off the 3-meter board with 306.75 points in a dual win against IUPUI in Cincinnati on Nov. 1.
