Casey Greenberg, a senior at Buchholz High School in Gainesville, has committed to dive at East Carolina University.
“East Carolina University offers me the ability for continuous growth in both my athletic and academic endeavors and I am excited to be a part of such a passionate and supportive environment.”
At the 2021 Florida High School Championships for Class 4A (largest schools), Greenberg placed sixth on the 1-meter springboard with a score of 377.80. At her regional championship, she won first on the 1-meter springboard with a score of 458.65.

ECU is a member of the American Athletic Conference. This season, the women’s team was reinstated after being cut due to budget restraints. The last time ECU participated in conference championships was in 2020, where the women placed 4th out of six teams.
“Casey will be a solid young diver for us with a great deal of potential,” said ECU diving coach Ryan McIntire. “I look forward to adding her to the group of girls we will have next season. I think she will be a great fit and help the team score valuable points throughout the season.”
