DAY 4 FINALS RECAP
We sat down with UVA head coach Todd DeSorbo fresh off of his first NCAA title in team history. DeSorbo reflects on the performance his team put up throughout the weekend as well as his coaching style of being conscious to not put pressure on his athletes. He also comments on the historic 1-2 finish for the ACC, saying it was a goal of his for his team to be disruptive at this meet, knowing that only 3 teams had finished in the top 2 at NCAAs over the past decade.

Opinions, beliefs and viewpoints of the interviewed guests do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs, and viewpoints of the hosts, SwimSwam Partners, LLC and/or SwimSwam advertising partners.
No matter how many times Coleman prompts Todd to wax nostalgic about his time at NC State or about his supposed great friendship with Braden Holloway, Todd always deflects away skillfully. Makes one think.
That wasn’t skillful….
Lol Todd can’t stand it that NC State is successful!
The swimmers still made improvements across the board. And it’s pretty well documented how good of a recruiter DeSorbo is, he did the same thing at NC State with Holloway. If everywhere a coach goes finds success, you either have a very lucky or very good coach
That is the absolute truth
What’s the drama?
It’s UVA’s moment. That’s it. It’s just his moment and their team’s moment. He doesn’t need to talk about other programs. He shouldn’t have to.
