On Saturday, February 22nd, 2020, the University of Virginia finished the ACC Championships with another victory–the 16th in program history.
We connected with University of Virginia head coach Todd Desorbo, who provided workouts from UVA’s training plan with star freshman Kate Douglass.
Our goal is to create a positive atmosphere where competitive swimmers can learn and improve the skills needed to compete at a higher level.

The Virginia Cavaliers have released their 2019-2020 meet schedule, which includes dual meets against Big Ten schools Michigan and Wisconsin.
The Virginia Sports Information Directors named two all-state teams with 32 athletes and 11 relays earning all-state nods.
The University of Virginia, coming off a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championships, headlined the inaugural VaSID Men’s Swimming & Diving All-State teams.
While the casual sports may know the University of Virginia primarily for the Cavaliers winning the most recent NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship, swim fans know that the UVA swim team has been one of the hottest teams in college swimming over the past few seasons.

Training sprinters to be as fast as they possibly can comes in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and philosophies. For UVA head coach Todd DeSorbo, it means going as fast as you can. All the time.
