2025 Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

Texas sophomore Rex Maurer won his 2nd NCAA title in 2 days, touching first in the 400 IM. Maurer revealed that he has been practicing letting himself feel whatever it is that he feels after each of his swims as opposed to earlier in his career when he would just move onto the next race without reflection. This has helped Maurer not only process his swims but also express his emotions in a healthy way.

I get this vibe from Texas that even though there’s a lot riding on the team there isn’t that much pressure from them which can definitely help at this meet but it looks like especially since they have the momentum that it’s a lot of fun for them here.
