2019 U.S. Nationals: Day 1 Photo Vault

2019 US NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Day 1 of the 2019 US National Championships at the Avery Aquatics Center at Stanford University saw some pretty exciting stuff for the first day. We saw 17 year old Regan Smith, days after breaking 3 world records, become the National Champion in the 200 Fly. We also saw Ryan Held break his own smoking fast US Open Record from this morning, along with a whole mess of guys going ultra-fast times, setting up next year’s 100 Freestyle at the Olympic Trials to be an amazing battle. Did you miss these swims? Luckily, SwimSwam’s Jack Spitser was on deck to capture the intensity and action of the first day of competition.
