JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sierra Marlins Swim Team seeks Assistant Senior/Lead Varsity swim coach.
POSITION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
Coaching Responsibilities
On Deck Coaching
Varsity Group – 2hours/day 6 days a week
Senior Group Assistant – 2 hours a day/ 6 days a week
Be Available 15 minutes before/after Varsity practice for parent/swimmer com
Promote and add team activities for groups
Meets – 1-2x per month
Travel – local, plus 1x/year min
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Weekly emails to groups
Manage Varsity Group Registration/group on TU
SMST DUTIES
Represent SMST at Zone/LSC level – all star team, etc.
Help organize team wide activities/relays/tents, etc.
Attend team meetings
Oversee parent volunteer schedule

Im a level 2 USA Swim Coach and level 4 education. I have 30 plus years experience in coaching and swimming. I am coaching Masters right now, but would like to coach Age group swimmers as my forte is teaching strokeTechnique. I am also doing private technique lessons for competitive swimmers of all ages. I have coached for CCA in the past for 4 years as a Developmental and Age group coach. I started my own USA Team in Auburn (AAC) for 3 plus years until our pool we were leasing closed which left us no where to swim.
