Sarah-Dalton Chambliss, a senior at Prattville High School in Prattville, Alabama, has given her verbal commitment to the University of Arkansas for the 2016-17 season.

“I really loved Arkansas’s swim program and felt drawn to the school. I pretty much had the feeling that I would go there on my visit, which was my first official visit for swimming. I love the girls on the team, and I believe that becoming a Razorback will help reach my goals in life and in the pool.

“Fayetteville is such a beautiful city, and I can’t wait to call it home.

“Go Hogs!!”

Chambliss swims for Prattville Swim League where she excels in sprint free, fly and back. Her best short-course times over the last two seasons have been:

  • 50 free – 23.18
  • 100 free – 50.79
  • 200 free – 1:51.47
  • 100 back – 55.58
  • 200 back – 2:01.90
  • 50 fly – 24.49
  • 100 fly – 54.49

Chambliss will rotate into the lineup just as the Razorbacks will be graduating two of its top sprinters, Nina Drolc and Maddie Monroe. Her current 50/100 free times, as well as her 100 back and 100 fly, are all within shooting range of making C finals at SEC Championships, making Chambliss a potential immediate-impact player from her freshman year forward.
