Brandeis University’s Zotz Earns Hall of Fame Honors

Jim Zotz is being inducted in the Brandeis University Hall of Fame in the contributor category. Zotz is considered the architect of Brandeis Swimming and Diving, serving as the program’s head coach of both the men’s and women’s teams from 1978 to 2010.

In that role, he was twice named the New England Division III Coach of the Year and twice led the University Athletic Association Coaching Staff of the Year. Zotz coached 15 All-Americans, 44 College Swim Coaches of America All-Academic teams, 67 New England Champions and 30 All-UAA performers in his tenure.

Jim Zotz is currently is the Assistant Director of Athletics at Brandeis he has been at Brandeis for 35 years.
