After an amazing Olympic performance that saw her win four medals including three gold, Hungarian Katinka Hosszu spoke to the media prior to the first stop of the FINA World Cup in Chartres, France.
Hosszu talked about how she can’t really pinpoint one single moment of the Games that was her favorite, but rather enjoyed the whole experience. She mentioned how this was the first Olympics that she actually took the time to enjoy, after three previous experiences.
When asked about the World Cup meets, Hosszu mentions how she hasn’t really trained or competed short course in a year and a half, and hasn’t made specific goals in terms of time for the early stages of the circuit as she adjusts back to the smaller pool. At the end when asked if she had any specific things in mind in terms of goals, Hosszu says “I will try to lower some of my records”.
Hosszu has won the overall World Cup award four straight years in dominant fashion. Known for taking on crazy event schedules at these meets, Hosszu is entered in all 17 events here in Chartres.
She is THE professional swimmer…
