The 2016 British Olympic Trials with an exciting night of racing.
Catch Siobhan-Marie O’Connor capture her third victory of the competition, winning the women’s 100 breaststroke in a lifetime best of 1:07.15. O’Connor beat out Sarah Vasey and Chloe Tutton for the title, but was disappointed with not making the Olympic qualifying time.
Watch 2015 World Junior Championships bronze medalist Luke Greenbank captured his first title in the men’s 200 backstroke. Greenbank has finished third at the last two British Championships.
After a heart breaking loss in the 200 butterfly see Alys Thomas beat out both Rachael Kelly and Jemma Lowe for the gold in the women’s 100 butterfly. Thomas surprised herself with the win as she is a 200 butterfly specialist.
Witness world champion James Guy capture the 200 freestyle title. Guy won the event in a time of 1:45.19, four one-hundredths of a second away from his British record. His time also places Guy atop of the world rankings.
